Terry D. Farmer

After working in the Trust Department of First National Bank in Albuquerque for one year, Mr. Farmer joined the Firm in 1975 and has become one of the Firm's main litigation attorneys with extensive experience in commercial and governmental litigation including Indian rights, creditors' rights, banking, construction, real estate and products liability. Mr. Farmer's practice involves commercial financing, real estate development and commercial transactions. He is one of our liaisons with the New Mexico Bankers Association and has practiced extensively in all areas of federal and state banking law and commercial financing. He has been the author of and lobbyist for legislation on behalf of the New Mexico Bankers Association. He is also active in NAIOP. He is a past President of the Albuquerque Lawyers Club and a past President of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of New Mexico. Mr. Farmer has also served as Secretary and Director of Rainbow House International, an international adoption agency. In 1994 Mr. Farmer was elected a Fellow, New Mexico Bar Foundation. He is listed in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Law (1998-1999). In 2003, Mr. Farmer was elected to Outstanding Lawyers of America.

Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, May 1, 1949; admitted to bar 1974, Oklahoma; 1975, New Mexico and U.S. Claims Court; 1976, U.S. District Court, District of New Mexico; 1977, U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit; 1980, U.S. Supreme Court. Education: University of Oklahoma (B.A., 1971; J.D., 1974).
