Mr. Frank graduated with honors from Arizona State University College of Law in 2003. Mr. Frank became licensed in Arizona the same year and began work as a litigation attorney at The Hassett Law Firm in Phoenix, Arizona. While at The Hassett Law Firm, Mr. Frank maintained an active litigation practice that was primarily focused on litigating insurance disputes. In 2009 and 2010, Mr. Frank became licensed in New Mexico and the Navajo Nation and extended his practice to include Native American Law. In 2010, Mr. Frank moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and joined Moses, Dunn, Farmer & Tuthill. Mr. Frank continues to maintain an active litigation and Native American Law practice. Mr. Frank is available to assist clients with their litigation needs in New Mexico, Arizona and the Navajo Nation.
Born in 1976 in Basin, Wyoming; admitted to Arizona bar in 2003, New Mexico bar in 2009 and Navajo Nation bar in 2010. Education: Northern Arizona University (B.S., magna cum laude, 1999); Arizona State University College of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2003).
Mr. Frank actively served as a mentor in the Big Brothers and Sisters of Central Arizona from 2000 to 2007. Mr. Frank also served as an Assistant Director to the Homeless Legal Assistance Project during law school and continues to volunteer at the State Bar of New Mexico’s Homeless Legal Clinic. Mr. Frank also assists law students by volunteering his time to participate in the mock interview and moot court programs operated by the University of New Mexico School of Law.
Mr. Frank has defended insurance agent liability claims in all phases of litigation for several years. Mr. Frank also assists consumers and businesses in resolving insurance coverage disputes with their insurance companies and has represented clients in advocating their claims for breach of contract and insurance bad faith.
Mr. Frank’s employment law practice includes representing employers in connection with unemployment claims and litigation arising from wrongful termination allegations. Mr. Frank also advises employers about how best to avoid needless employment litigation by appropriately complying with federal and state employment laws. Mr. Frank also assists employers operating in the Navajo Nation and has assisted clients in complying with the unique aspects of the Navajo Preference in Employment Act.
Mr. Frank represents clients operating in the Navajo Nation and assists them with their litigation needs in tribal courts and administrative agencies. Mr. Frank also represents clients operating Grant Schools that are locally controlled, but required to comply with the federal law applicable to the recipients of federal funding.
