Ms. Ritter received her law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2017 after receiving her undergraduate degree in Art History from the University of Illinois, and her Master’s degree in Art History from Northern Illinois University. She worked for an Albuquerque civil defense firm for two years after graduating from law school, practicing in a variety of areas of law including medical malpractice, insurance defense, employment, and contracts. Ms. Ritter then served as an interim law clerk for the Honorable J. Miles Hanisee at the New Mexico Court of Appeals. After clerking, she joined the Division of Appellate Court Attorneys for the Court of Appeals in 2019 where she reviewed docketing statements, wrote notices of proposed disposition on the summary calendar, and wrote opinions for the Court. Ms. Ritter joined the Moses firm in 2022 and practices general civil litigation, insurance litigation, employment and labor law, contracts and business law, banking and finance, probate and trust administration, and appellate law.
